SE Mäkinen is a family-owned company operating in the automotive logistics sector. They provide comprehensive vehicle logistics services, including transportation, technical works, car storage, and terminal services. The company handles the entire logistics chain for new vehicles and offers administrative support. SE Mäkinen has been in business for over 60 years and serves the Finnish automotive trade by managing car transport, logistics, and related operations efficiently.
We have been building interfaces with the same technique since 1998. Our aim was to renew the entire integration platform and all its interfaces. A genIT jumped onboard when we needed a partner to execute a selection process to figure out the right kind of platform.
The biggest challenge with the previous platform was its lack of centralized management. That made it very inconvenient to use. Basically, the users had to manage issues themselves with every report.
Together with AgentIT, we developed a customized product that we now use to monitor interfaces.
